it is a nice b&w picture i like the contrast, but did you mean it to look grainey?

yep that i ment to do. i cant really remember what i did. but.. i was playing with the hues and contrast, then i added a texture over one layer, and then played with the transparency... so it was a color picture, taken in natural light, then i went and messed with it. I wanted it to come across as light and dark, coming thru the static... thats why its named "playing in photoshop" lol.

wow. i'm not so sure if i am as keen on the texture. buti LOVE the b and w. i would have never guess that it was once a color.
for some reason it feels very balanced. ^^
